Jill Morton received a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Hawaii in 1987 and an undergraduate degree in art from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has served as faculty at the School of Architecture - University of Hawaii, Chaminade University, and Matsuda Technology Center. Her paintings are represented in a number of public and private collections including William Keck, the Tosei Group, and Bradley Properties.
Although her background and “first love” is painting, the advent of the Internet in 1995 has provided new directions. Morton is the author and illustrator of the award-winning web site, Color Matters - a leading source for information about color on the web today. She is also the author of the Color Voodoo series of books about color symbolism and color theory . Morton’s work as a color professional can be found at Colorcom.
