All posts before June 15, 2007 are read only. Do not try to reply to any old post. If you have something to add to an old post, just start a new post on the topic. You may post a request for new information. Please read the rules highlighted in yellow below. To post a new post, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter your new Message. |
| We will be working on a solution for the future. If you are able to help with any solution or hosting the bulletin board, please email |
This section of the Color Matters web site includes 2 areas: the Bulletin Board and Hot Topics (The best posts of the Bulletin Board) where you'll find 20 pages of significant information - for example "Why blue is for boys and pink for girls?" Please use the pull-down menu at the top of this page to access the topics.
1. No private requests for information!
For example: "Please email me the answer at myname.net". will be rejected. This bulletin board exists for the benefit of everyone interested in color.
2. Be specific about the subject title of your post!
For example: "Need help for science project" will be rejected. There's no information in this subject title to entice someone to read the post. An interesting title would be "Does the color of your eyes affect vision?"
3. Questions that have been previously answered will not be posted.
For example "How does color affect appetite?" - will not be posted. Tip: Use the find command on the bulletin board web page to see if there is a post about the topic. For example, find "appetite."
4. Questions that take an entire book to answer-such as "What is the Symbolism of Colors?" will also be rejected.
Please search all the posts on the Bulletin Board and the Best of the Bulletin Board pull down menu at the top of this page for information.
Use the Search function at the top right of this page! It will not search the Bulletin Board (you'll have to do that on your own) but it will search the entire site.
Link to Bibliography and Links pages for excellent lists of books and web sites that address many color issues.
